Sharing is Not Teaching (or Tutoring)

How to Select the Right Learning Methods #3

Yesterday, we talked about the"Benjamin Bloom's Taxonomy of Learning" on how to identify the levels for earning objectives and what verbs to use for constructing learning objectives.  If you got a chance to read my posts this week, you should have a better understanding of the knowledge, skills and attitudes (KSA) and learning objectives.

In today's post, we will take a deeper dive into selecting the right learning methods based on the KSAs.Click on the link below to review each topic we covered this week:
  1. Understanding the Knowledge, Skills and Attitude (KSA)
  2. Identifying the levels for each learning objective
  3. Selecting the right learning method(s) based on the KSA

Sharing information with your students is NOT teaching . There are so many different learning methods you can use.  You will use different methods to address the three types of learning (KSA).

For your convenience, I have created an image on the left hand side to help you select the right learning methods and the type of learning (KSA) that will most likely occur.  Hope this is helpful!
